We start by making sure your pet has “a seat at the table” through collaboration and consultation with the pet parent, doctor and pharmacist.

Step 2 - Right Care & Product

Our custom formulations only use certified ingredients, natural organic flavors and dosages that are prescribed to make your pet feel better, faster!

Step 3 - Review For Quality & Confirm Details

Before shipping your medication we initiate a two-stage quality check to ensure the prescription has been produced as specified.

Once the quality check is completed, delivery and shipping information is confirmed. To help in the healing process a special toy will be included in every shipment.

Does my pet require a prescription to get medication?

Yes. A prescription is required by State and Federal rules and regulations. We work with your veterinarian to ensure all prescription medications follow this process and to ensure your pet is receiving the proper treatment.

How do I send my prescription to VDCrx?

The process is simple and we have multiple options for your convenience.

  • Your Veterinarian sends a prescription for processing, or
  • You let us know the name of your Veterinarian and we will secure the authorization for your prescriptions. Call or text: 818-788-0635, or email: info@vdcrx.com

Depending upon preference, you will receive a confirmation for the authorized prescription.

Do you only sell prescription medicine or are there other products you offer?

We are a full-service pharmacy offering both specially compounded medications as well traditional non-compounded medications, including supplements, vitamins, healthy living products, please call for details.

My pet is still not feeling well after using the medication, who should I contact?

If your pet isn’t feeling better or is having difficulty with the medication, please contact us right away and we’ll work with you and your veterinarian to ensure the best course of action.

What happens when I run out of medication?

We offer competitive pricing on all commercially available medications and specially formulated compounds. 

  • Next day shipping is FREE.
  • For a nominal fee, same-day delivery is available via courier in Los Angeles.

How does VDCrx support the pet community?
Through our Vcare community support initiative we partner with animal shelters throughout the greater Los Angeles area. Working with veterinarians we subsidize part of the medication treatment costs to help deliver quality care for those pets that are less fortunate.

What if the client has trouble administering the medicine?
We will call the pet parent and help them through any issues and provide solutions. Every shipment includes an instruction guide to help educate the pet parent on best practices and how to properly administer the prescribed medication.
What medications and forms do you compound?

We have a variety of medications and dosage forms which you can find in our catalog. Or, you can speak with a pharmacist to discuss therapy options that may work best for your patient.
